Banana Cucumber Eye Mask

If you have a piece of dried fruit recently, you know how wrinkly things get when dehydrated. And because the skin around your eyes is so incredibly thin, it’s one of the first areas to lose moisture and show it. To take your eyes from shriveled up raisin-like to plump up and grape-like, use this hydrating under-eye mask. With bananas, rich in potassium, a mineral that helps cells retain their moisture; honey, which helps to gently pull moisture deep below the skin’s surface; and cucumbers, with their high water content, this mask is one of the quickest and easiest ways to plump up fine lines.




1/2 ripe banana
1/2 cucumber, peeled
1 tablespoon raw honey

Puree all the ingredients in a blender, until smooth.

Refrigerate until cool to the touch, about 30 minutes.

Apply a thin layer under your eyes and let it sit for 15 minutes before rinsing with warm water.
