Sake Serum – For Age Spots
This is topical hyperpigmentation remedy. Sake has an acid that, when applied topically, diminishes your body’s ability to create the melanin responsible for sun spots. Mixed with orange and lemon juice, both high in ascorbic and citric acids, this sake toner will help fade sun and age spots while also cleansing, protecting, and brightening your skin. This APPLY recipe is more potent than any store-bought skin care products that boast of sake as an ingredient since the active properties aren’t stable enough to be included in store-bought skin care.
1 ounce unfiltered sake
1/2 ounce freshly squeezed orange juice
1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
In a small bowl, combine all of the ingredients.
With a cotton pad, apply a thin layer to clean skin, avoiding your eye area.
For a deeper treatment, saturate cotton pads with the toner and lay on your skin for 10 minutes.
